Professor Manlio Graziano published an article entitled "Towards a Geopolitics of Democracy" on as well as on the Eurasian Review of Geopolitics . Looking at the democratic process through the lens of geopolitics, Professor Graziano advocates for a systematic study of the reciprocal influence of geopolitics and democracy. He predicts that the recent phenomena of the Arab Spring and of the acceleration of the European integration process may prompt that approach. Two Master's candidates in the International Relations and Diplomacy program at AGS contributed to the English translation of this article - Kryssandra Heslop (class of 2013) and Cullen Stewart (class of 2012).
